ABOUT THE VIDEO TRAINING
What the program covers
With play being absolutely central to child development, the Therapy at Home Sparking Imaginative Play Program focuses on providing children with opportunities to develop their play skills.
Children are engaged to explore a range of play styles through activities themed around transport, knights and space. These activities provide space for children to nurture their construction skills, experiment, problem solve, imagine and connect play-world scenarios to real-world experiences.
Parents are a key focus in the Sparking Imaginative Play Program too. They're exposed to hands-on strategies for engaging their children in play, and educated about what to encourage throughout the various developmental stages.
The program is designed with the belief that there is no ‘right way’ to play. Instead, children are invited to discover the types of play they enjoy best, take the lead in play with their parents and explore themes together.
