ABOUT THE VIDEO TRAINING
What the program covers
Does your child become frustrated when they can’t express their needs or engage with others? Early Years Language Program is designed to support early language and social development in children aged 1 to 3 through play-based, interactive activities that make learning language engaging and accessible. This program aims to empower children to expand their vocabulary, understand new concepts and communicate their thoughts and feelings more effectively. Through activities like songs, shared book reading and structured play, children can develop key expressive and receptive language skills while discovering the joy of interaction.
The program also offers parents and caregivers practical tools to support effective communication, including the use of Aided Language Displays (ALDs) that can help children of all communication levels to follow along and participate. By introducing concepts like turn-taking, sharing, and basic problem-solving through play, children are supported to grow at their own pace, gaining confidence in social interactions and learning that communication can be both rewarding and fun!
With a flexible range of structured and unstructured activities, Early Years Language Program allows parents to tailor play to their child’s developmental stage, from hands-on sensory exploration to interactive storytelling. The program also provides guidance for adapting each activity, encouraging parents to foster their child’s language skills in ways that feel natural and enjoyable. This program may be useful for children with language difficulties, communication frustrations or social hesitations, providing supportive tools to build a strong foundation for confident communication as they grow.
