What the program covers
We know that navigating bedtime routines and sleep challenges can be tricky. While occasional disruptions in sleep patterns are to be expected, persistent sleep difficulties can impact a childâs health, emotional wellbeing and cognitive functioning. Recognising and supporting these challenges is important to promote optimal sleep for your child, supporting them to be at their best both during the day and at night.
Our Sleep Program aims to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and support you need to help your child establish healthy sleep habits.
The program has been designed by our experienced Senior OT and mother of four children, Kait. In addition to developing detailed education and real-world strategies, Kait has carefully curated the items in this programsâ toolbox. In fact, many of the items have been created and developed by Kait and the Therapy at Home team, to ensure they offer the highest therapeutic value.
During this program, you will be guided through the role of sleep in supporting brain development and overall wellbeing, while also learning about the common challenges across different age groups. Clear guidelines based on the best available evidence are provided to help you understand optimal sleep requirements by age, as well as guidance to support you to identify what could be disrupting your childâs sleep patterns.
