Support your child to master their own mornings, afternoons, and evenings. This kit includes a premium magnetic routine board with customisable picture magnets, a dedicated timer, and a personal routine journal that guides your child to map out what works for them.

Our therapy team designed this box to solve a common, frustrating cycle: a child knows how to do every single task in a morning, yet the routine still falls apart. What usually defeats them isn't the task itself; it’s the order, the timing, and the overwhelm of trying to hold it all in their head.

Your child will experiment with the steps, the order, reflect on how they feel, and then build a customised routine out of what actually works for them. Start here if getting dressed, eating breakfast, and finding shoes are things your child can do on their own, but doing all three in a row to get out the door on time feels nearly impossible.

WHAT'S INSIDE

What's in this play kit

A full kit of routine tools, curated to work together.
Routines Buddy

Routines Buddy

A freestanding magnetic whiteboard complete with visual routine magnets, a countdown timer, dry-erase markers, and a handy setup guide. Your child maps out their morning on the front and flips it over to plan their afternoon and evening on the back. We love that it is completely erasable; if a morning doesn't go to plan, your child has the autonomy to wipe it clean and adjust it themselves.
Weekly and monthly planners

Weekly and monthly planners

Two matching magnetic calendar boards (one weekly, one monthly). Because no two afternoons are identical, these planners help your child map out the bigger picture, like footy practice on Tuesday or swimming on Thursday. When kids can visually preview their week, they transition into their afternoons with a feeling of stability.
Routines Journal

Routines Journal

A hands-on workbook your child is guided through via the videos. They will explore the six pillars that hold a day together - movement, real food, time in nature, connection with loved ones, quality sleep, and free play - and rate how each one impacts their focus and energy, learning exactly what their own body needs to feel good.

Why we built it this way

Experiment and adapt

Experiment and adapt

The journal guides your child to experiment with each of the six healthy habits, helping them discover their own personal preferences. By learning to incorporate what truly makes them feel good into their daily schedule, your child takes active ownership of their day. It transforms a rigid checklist into a flexible, living routine that adapts alongside them.
The magic of seeing time

The magic of seeing time

Many morning meltdowns are caused by time, not a lack of effort. By writing time slots next to their magnets, your child will figure out if their morning is actually long enough for the routine they’ve designed. Pair that with their visual countdown timer, and they can literally "see" time passing. If their plan doesn’t fit the clock, they get the autonomy to decide: do they swap an activity, or wake up ten minutes earlier? Learning to estimate time is an executive function skill and it’s the secret to getting them out the door without you saying a word.
Building in regulation

Building in regulation

A typical morning is packed with non-negotiable tasks that kids dread which is exactly how parents end up repeating "put your shoes on" five times. This kit teaches your child to build a regulation into their routine (like five minutes on the trampoline before brushing teeth). When a child starts their day with what feels good, they have the fuel needed to tackle the rest of their list.

INCLUDED WITH YOUR PLAY KIT

The videos that come with it

Nothing has to be pre-assembled or perfectly planned before you open the box. Your child can map out tomorrow morning on their board the very afternoon the kit lands at your doorstep if they want to. When you’re ready to dive into the learning behind it, there is just under four hours of video broken down into digestible chapters. Our therapy team guides your child through the journal step-by-step. Dedicated videos visually demonstrate how to lay out their daily routine on the board and realistically map out their time blocks. And there’s a deep dive for parents on the developmental science behind routines. We'll send your invitation to access it all when your kit ships.

WHO THIS PLAY KIT IS FOR

If this is how your days run

  • I say the same four things every morning, and nothing much happens until I’m yelling with 2 minutes to get out the door.
  • They can do every one of the jobs on their own but getting through all of them before we leave is where it all goes pear shaped.
  • I’m so sick of constantly hovering and micromanaging their every move just to keep the morning moving. They hate it too.
this is who we built the play kit for.

Who made this

Kait is an OT. She has been working with children and families for nearly 20 years, and she has four kids of her own. She designed this play kit because she knows firsthand how high-stress, rushed mornings and never-ending evenings take a toll on the entire family. As well-meaning parents, we often get caught in a cycle of constant reminders and micromanagement. This kit breaks that cycle by shifting the ownership. When your child is gently guided to map out their own routines, and watch them come to life visually on their magnetic board, the responsibility shifts naturally into their hands. They build executive function skills and lasting confidence, while you finally get to step back and say goodbye to the constant nagging and rushing.
