ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Why we love it

Spot markers can spark a range of possibilities for structured or unstructured play. From providing a clear location for children to sit or stand, to practising counting, jumping, balancing, spatial awareness and taking turns, spot markers provide a wide range of learning opportunities. They can turn mundane tasks like balancing into an epic the-floor-is-lava-style adventure.

SKILLS IT CAN HELP WITH

1.svg

Movement

Spot markers can be used to create obstacle courses that encourage children to run, jump, hop and balance. They can be used to enhance coordination and agility, improving dynamic movement skills.

2.svg

Body awareness

They can help children develop a sense of space, distance, direction and positioning. Children can understand their own body’s positioning relative to other objects, enhancing their spatial awareness and coordination.

3.svg

Creativity and play

They can be used to create imaginative play scenarios, pretending markers are stepping stones on a magical journey, or targets in a treasure hunt. This can foster creativity and storytelling skills.
