Routines Program
The Play Way Routines Program has been specially designed by our occupational therapists to assist children in creating healthy habits so they can move through their days with a greater sense of self-management. This evidence-based system uses proven neuroscience and sensory strategies to help your child develop genuine independence and confidence.
Through exploration of the supports provided in the toolbox and exploring our 6 foundations framework, children will be guided to understand and implement daily routines for keeping their engines’ running ‘just right.’ Children learn to self-manage their energy levels and move through daily routines with confidence.

Routines Workbook
Does this sound familiar?
"My child has meltdowns during transitions and can't seem to follow our routine without me standing over them giving constant reminders. I feel like a broken record."
"Bedtime takes forever. My child struggles to wind down, has trouble falling asleep independently, and mornings are rough because they're tired and dysregulated."
"I know my child is capable of more independence, but they seem to need me for everything. I want to help them feel confident managing their own routine."
If these challenges sound familiar, you are not alone. It's exactly why we've designed this program.
This program helps families move from daily routine battles to calm, independent mornings and evenings, while teaching children the regulation skills they need to manage their own "engine speed" and feel confident in their daily routines.

What the program covers
The Routines Workbook and accompanying videos will guide children through understanding their different engine speeds (high, low and ‘just right’) and how the 6 Pillars of Health can be used on a daily basis to support a ‘just right’ engine speed.
The 6 Pillars of Health - movement, real food, time in nature, free play, love and connection and quality sleep - are investigated and explored so that children can learn more about their own personal preferences for using these to build healthy habits.
Following this exploration, they will be guided to experiment with and develop morning, afternoon and evening routines to support a ‘just right’ engine speed.
The toolbox provides a range of visual and auditory tools to assist the whole family in maintaining these healthy habits and daily routines.
